Mantaro Valley 03 Days / 02 Nights

Day 1: Laguna de Paca – Convento de Ocopa – Handicrafts

Reception.

Transfer to the Hotel. Depart to Jauja province and boat ride on Paca Lagoon, an Andean lake surrounded by bulrushes and quaint restaurants, and a spectacular view of mountains in the distance. Then visit the Convento de Ocopa. founded by Franciscan monks in 1725, for a guided tour of its coisters, library of 25,000 volumes, some dating back to the 15th century, and Amazon jungle musuem. Tour of Ingenio trout breeding center. Lunch. Visit to artisan town of Hualhuas (weaving), San Jeronimo (silver jewelry). Return to hotel. 

Day 02: HUAYTAPALLANA FULL DAY

Pick up from the lodging.

Transfer in private mobility to Virgen de las Nieves (1 hour and a half approx.). During the transfer we will pass through Palian, we will observe the countryside; Vilcacoto, silhouette of the snow-capped mountain, we will pass through the Campesino Community of Acopalca, where we will observe a great diversity of flora and fauna.
Arrival at Virgen de las Nieves. Walk to the Nevado (3hrs Aprx). During the walk we will pass through the three main lagoons, which are the following: Carhuacocha, Jatun Cocha and Yanaucsha ..
Arrival at the Nevado. In which we will be in contact with the snow, you can take pictures, make snowmen, slide in the snow. Return to Virgen de las Nieves, luch.

Return to the City of HUANCAYO.

Day 03: HUANCAYO – LIMA
Breakfast.
Departure transfer.
