DAY 1 LIMA – CITY TOUR
Pick up upon arrival and overnight at the Hotel located in Miraflores.
In the afternoon city tour of Lima. We start our tour with a panoramic view of the “Pucllana Pyramid” a magnificent ceremonial and archeological center built in the 4th century a.D. and considered a “Sacred Village” by the Incas.
The Viceroyalty of Perú was the most important of the Spanish Empire and Lima was its capital.
And them we visit the Historical Center of Lima, where you will appreciate more than fifty monuments and Colonial edifications, such as the Paseo de la República, the San Martín Square, the Main Square, the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral Basilica, and the City Council Palace amongst others.
We will visit the MUSEUM OF THE BANCO CENTRAL DE RESERVA,where we will admire the “Treasures of Perú” collection, a fine selection of objects made of gold, ceramics and textiles from different pre-columbian cultures.
We will visit the monumental SAN FRANCISCO CONVENT, which displays the largest collection of religious art in America. Our highlight will be the visit of the underground vaults, known as “Catacumbas” or Catacombs.
We will visit traditional residential areas of Lima, such as El Olivar of San Isidro, Miraflores and Larcomar.
Transfer to the hotel.
DAY 2 LIMA –NAZCA - AREQUIPA
Early transfer to the bus terminal the Southern Cross.
Pick up from the terminal to the airfield where we see a video about the enigmatic Nazca Lines and then begin the flyby.
We will take a look the mysterious lines made on the sand covering a 350 km extension of these figures represent different animals and plants like the spider, monkey, dog, lizard, the colibri, the condor, among others in large sizes that reach 15 to 300 meters each and with a depth of 30 centimeters approx.
The lines represent some sort of vast astronomical pre – Inca calendar.
After the over flight we will take some to rest and we will have lunch (no included) aftera couple of hours then transfer to the bus station to take the bus to Arequipa it depart about 21:30
DAY 3 AREQUIPA - CITY TOUR – CONVENT OF SAINT CATALINA
Upon arrival very early in the morning. Reception and transfer to the selected hotel. In the afternoon around 3 pm you will take the Arequipa half day city tour that includes the visit at the Saint Catalina monastery. The city has fine Spanish buildings and many old and interesting churches built of sillar, a pearly white volcanic material almost exclusively used in the construction of Arequipa. The Saint Catalina Convent is by far the most remarkable sight, opened in 1970 after 4 centuries of mistery.
DAY 4 COLCA CANYON
At 08:00 a.m leave Arequipa towards nor west direction behind snow – covered Chachani, Yura, small valley with thermal springs, see wild vicuñas in Pampa Cañahuas national reserve, Alpacas and Llamas in Tocra, some birds like flamingos, ibis , Andean goose, ducks, Andean eagle “Kara Kara” view point of the Volcanoes and snow covered mountains in Patapampa (4,800m.) (15,000ft.), See the Ampato, Sabancaya, Walca Walca, etc. Chivay capital of the valley. Afternoon visit to the termal springs and pools in La Calera (admission to the pools not included).
Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 5 COLCA CANYON – PUNO
Early morning after breakfast leave for a full day excursion in the left shore, beautiful tipical towns, like Yanque and Maca, colonial churches, gently people with tipical needlework dresses, hundreds of pre Inca terraces still in use with Andean growings like corn, quinua, kiwicha (amaranto), etc.
Lookout of the cross of the condor: see the deep of the canyon and if we have good luck we will see the flight of tne Condor. Stone scale models, some pre Inca graves. Time for lunch.
14:00 pm the bus will leave Chivay to Puno 4M.
Puno arrival at approximately 18:00
Transfer to hotel. Overnight in Puno
DAY 6 UROS AND TAQUILE ISLANDS
You will be picked up from your hotel at 6:40 a.m. , after a 2 hour motorboat ride, you will arrive al the Uros island in the Titikaka lake . fishermen and hunters inhabit the floating island of the Uros. The residents of the Uros use the cattail, a type of rush, which grows in the lake, to create the conditions that ensure the island. The roofs are waterproof and the houses are extremely humid because of the surrounding water. At the present, they speak Quechua and Aymara. Then we will visit the Taquile Island, where we will have lunch in the cooperative restaurant. There is also a cooperative shop on the plaza that sells exceptional wool goods which are of very fine quality and somewhat expensive. Taquile Island is famous for its craft production, particularly for itsbeautiful textiles. The island is narrow at about 1 km. wide and 6 to 7 km. long. The visit could be exhausting because of the 533 steps on the stone stairway to climb to get to the village and because of the altitude (13,000ft above sea level). On Taquile there are numerous pre – Inca and Inca ruins as well as Inca terracing. We will return in Puno in the afternoon, overnight.
DAY 7 PUNO – CUSCO
Transfer to the bus station. Ten hour ride to Cusco, across the scenic high Andes landscapes only dotted by small villages and herds of the llamas and vicuñas. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel and overnight.

This church is considered the “Sistine chapel of the Americas”. Inside the church we can find a variety of paintings and murals dating form the XVIth and XVIIth centuries. The church is considered as outstanding colonial art.
Temple dedicated to Wiracocha, supreme god of the Incas Empire. The temple is built out of sundried mud- brinck walls and stone. The site shows remains of terraces, bridges, warehouses and cottages.
Is the highest pass on the route; this point is the conjustion of the cordilleras and gives origin to the Vilcanota knot. The landscape is beautiful: snow peaks, herds of alpacas, vicuñas, etc.
Archeological complex formed by a pyramidal structure. Here we can observe the first sign of civilized culture in the Peruvian Altiplano. The ruins date from 4000 b.c.
DAY 8 CITY TOUR – 04 ARCHEOLOGICAL RUINS
In the afternoon: Cusco city tour from 2 pm to 6:30 pm. This tour includes the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun) and the Cathedarl. The tour drives a long the circunvalacion road up to famous fortress of Sacsayhuaman, then to Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay with Spanish and English speaking professional guide. Include s tourist ticket valid for the entrance to many museums and ruins as well.
DAY 9 SACRED VALLEYS OF THE INCAS
Full-day excursion to the "Sacred Valley of the Incas", by the Vilcanota River. We will have the opportunity to share closely the peasants' customs and bargain with vendors at the typical indian market of Pisac, held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Lunch in a local countryside restaurant.
After lunch, passing through the Towns of Calca and Urubamba, we visit the Inca Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo, built to guard the entrance to this part of the Valley, and protect it from possible invasion from the tribes in the Lower jungle. The Fortress consists of a series of stepped carved stone terraces accessed by long staircases. Later on you can walk through the quaint streets of the nearby Town, and get a good idea of what this Strategic Military, Religious, and Agricultural Centre was like during the era of the Inca Empire.
DAY 10 FULL DAY MACHU PICCHU
The day starts with an early morning rise to transfer to Cusco Train Station for a three hour train journey to the famous Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu, also known as "The Lost City of the Incas", one of the best known examples of surviving Inca architecture. Arrive at Aguas Calientes Station followed by a 30-minute bus drive, climbing 6km of winding road, to the marvellous Citadel.
Upon arrival, you will participate in a guided tour of the Citadel, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Dial (the most important preserved Intihuatana), the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and various burial grounds. After the tour you'll have time to stroll around the Archaeological Site at your leisure. Lunch at a local restaurant and a late afternoon return to Cusco. Overnight in your selected hotel in Cusco.
DAY 11 CUSCO – LIMA
In time transfer to airport for the flight Lima.
Transfer to the hotel.
Afternoon transfer to station to board the bus to the city of Trujillo.
DAY 12 CITY TOUR – EXHIBITION OF PERUVIAN PASO HORSE
Reception and transfer to the chosen hotel. We will begin the city tour in the Main Square, then we will visit the Casa Colange, Casa Orbegozo, Casa of the Emancipation, the Iturregui Palace and then we will proceed to visit the archeology museum.
Then continue to a private ranch where we choreographed and exhibition of Peruvian Paso horse. We will be able to observe the demonstration of the Marinera, a very beautiful Typical Dance full of senses, then we see the stables and we will have some free time for shopping and photo taking. Return to Trujillo. Overnight.
DAY 13 TRUJILLO - TOUR HUANCHACO HUACA THE SUN AND THE MOON
After breakfast. Excursion 15 minutes South of Trujillo to visit the enormous adobe constructions built by the Mochica Culture in the 5th century, called Temple of the Sun, considered the largest adobe pyramid in Peru and the Temple of the Moon, housing an extensive burial ground and some fine polychrome murals in which their deity is often printed. Is believed that both were complementary, one administrative and the other religious. Proceed to Huanchaco Beach, well frequented by beach-goers and surfers, you will have the opportunity to appreciate the local fishermen surfing the waves in their traditional "Caballitos de Totora", little reed boats used for fishing since pre Inca times, by Northern Peruvians during lunch.
In the afternoon, visit the largest mud archaeological complex of the pre-Hispanic America, Chan Chan, ancient Capital of the Chimu Empire (13th Century), visiting the Temple del Arco Iris, the site museum and the Tshudi Palace.
Return to the hotel.
DAY 14 TRUJILLO – CHICLAYO – TOUR SIPAN
Early in the morning, after breakfast, transfer to Trujillo bus station to take the bus to Chiclayo (2 hours 30 minutes approx.).
Upon arrival, transfer to your selected hotel.
We will start our journey visiting the Huaca Rajada, place where the Lord of Sipan was discovered, then we will visit the Túcume pyramids, we will visit its museum, the lookout La raya hill and we will star an archaeological walk. Lunch (Optional) Finally, we will visit the visit the Royal Tombs of Sipán Museum, where we will be able to appreciate all the funeral trousseau of the Mister of Sipán, its scepter of command, earflaps, necklaces, pectoral, protective coxales, its semi-circulate crown and we will be able to know a little more of the Mochica Civilization. Overnight in Chiclayo
DAY 15 TOUR SICAN - FOREST OF POMAC
We will start our journey with the visit to the Sican Museum, where fabulous treasures of the Sican pre-incan Civilization can be seen. Then visit to the Pomac Forest, also called Batan Grande, the Huaca Loro. Return to Chiclayo.
